CELLPHONES MAY CATCH FIRE,EXPLODE = Tests ordered by authorities in East China found that products from a number of cellphone makers - including Samsung Group , Sony Mobile Communications AB (formerly Sony Ericsson ), Motorola Mobility LLC and Nokia Corp - are substandard and can c ause fires and explosions .The test , organized recently by the Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce , found 27 out of the 36 batches of sample cellphones , or 75 percent , were of inferior quality , with 20 batches failing to pass the battery heating test , one of the critical safety benchmarks .Other brands with problems were Royal Philips Electronics , HTC Corp , ZTE Corp , K-Touch ,TCL Corp , Huawei Technologies Co Ltd , Hisense , Lenovo Group Ltd , Desay , Amoi , Vivo , Ebest and Coolpad. .Jin Lei , a public relations officer of HTC China , said on Thursday the company will launch an investigation into the issue and release the results as soon as possible . Other brands ,including Samsung , Huawei , Sony Mobile and Lenovo , did not respond by press time Thursday .The revelations came after a rash of cellphone explosions in recent years . In one of the mysterious cases , a young woman in beijing had her leg and left hand burned in April after her cellphone exploded in her pants pocket . Public concern about phone quality prompted the authority to launch the inspection , and the test was carried out by a Guangzhou-based telecom-products test center designated by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology , according to the Zhejiang administration .All the sample products were collected from authorized retail outlets of China Mobile , China Unicom and China Telecom - the country 's largest telecom operators .Tests were carried out on the products ' general function , battery capability and quality of chargers , and it has been found that most of the defective phones could not pass the heat exposure as required by the national standard ."If a phone doesn 't pass the heating test , it can easily lead to a short and start a fire , especially when it is kept in a hot place for a long time ," said a professor at Fudan University ' Chemistry Department . "It is very dangerous ."Other defects found by the authority include an inferior audio frequency , which will reduce the connection quality , and insufficient battery capacity .The chinese administration said it has combed the market for the substandard batches and launched probes into these cases . How to Save a Wet Cell Phone...:Have you ever accidentally dropped your cellphone in the sink, or even worse... the toilet? Did you leave it in your pocket and run it through the washing machine and at times it's possible that your friends dunked you in a swimming pool just for the fun of it? Did you get beaten by the rain or did you forget and go swimming with your cell phone in your pocket? Or perhaps it fell out of your pocket and into the pet's water bowl? Getting your cell phone wet usually means you have to replace it, but sometimes if you're fast enough, you might be able to save the phone! Follow the steps outlined in this article to try and save your wet cell phone.Take the phone out of the water as soon as possible. A longer period of immersion, such as being in the washing machine cycle, is no cause for alarm. Keep wiping gently to remove as much of the remaining water as possible.How to Save a Wet Cell Phone If you pulled the battery out in time, cleaning the inside of your phone with rubbing alcohol or isopropanol fluid will displace the water which alone could remedy the problem.If you want to try and suck the liquid out of the inner parts of the phone, try using a vacuum cleaner ,if there is one available. Remove all residual moisture by drawing it away with a vacuum cleaner held over the affected areas for up to 20 minutes, in each accessible area .This is the fastest method and can completely dry out your phone and get it working in thirty minutes. However, unless the exposure to water was extremely short, it's not recommended to attempt to turn your phone on this soon. Be careful not to hold the vacuum too close to the phone, as a vacuum can create static electricity, which is even worse for the phone than water.Do not use a hair dryer to dry out a phone. Contrary to common advice, it is not recommended that you use a hair dryer (not even on the "cold" mode). Using a hair dryer may force moisture further inward toward the crevices, reaching the electrical components deep inside the phone. And if the hair dryer air is too warm, it could melt the components or the case

An inexpensive option is to place the phone in a bowl or bag of uncooked rice overnight. The rice will absorb any remaining moisture.Note: If available, it is preferable to use a desiccant instead. Desiccants may absorb moisture better than rice.You can also try slipping the cell phone inside a plastic bag that can be sealed or a plastic container (airtight). Add a desiccant packet, such as silica gel — often found with new shoes, purses, noodle packets, etc — in with the cell phone. The downside of this method is the packets packed with shoes has usually already reached its absorption capacity. Leave the phone with the dessicant or rice as long as possible (at least overnight) to absorb the moisture.Note: Rotate the phone to a different position every hour until you go to sleep. This will allow any water left inside to run down and hopefully find an opening to escape.Let the phone sit on absorbent towels, napkins or other paper. After removing the phone from the rice or desiccant (or if you were not able to use either method), place the phone flat on an absorbent material. Remember that the goal is to evacuate all of the moisture and humidity from the device.Note: Check the absorbent material every hour for 4 to 6 hours. If moisture is evident, repeat the vacuuming step and desiccant steps.Test your phone. After you have waited at least 24 hours, or longer if needed, check to see that every area of your cell phone is clean and looks dry. Check all the ports, compartments and in between crevices for any moisture or dirt. Wipe away any dust and dirt from the device and covers and insert the battery into the phone. Attempt to power on the device, listening for odd noises and observing to see if the phone appears to function correctly.If your phone is completely dried out, but still does not work, try plugging it into its charger" without the battery". If this works, you will probably need a new battery.If plugging it in with the charger doesn't work, try taking your cell phone to a professional service engineer. Sometimes they can fix it. Don't try to "hide the fact "that it has been wet - there are internal indicators that prove moisture - and the repair people are more likely to be able to help you if you explain exactly what has happened to the phone.Unless you are trained and skilled to do so, never take a phone apart. Leave that to the professionals, since doing so could potentially cause shock or exposure to harmful chemicals or components. Note: If your phone is powering up but doesn't operate correctly after you've dried it, then it's likely that you've missed some liquid, or that corrosion has already occurred. ഇങ്ങനേം കുറച്ചു പേര്മുൻപു ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു
ഞാന് പത്തു വയസ്സുള്ളപ്പോള് എഴുതി തുടങ്ങിയാതാണ് .( ചിരിക്കണ്ടാ .....!പ്രേമലേഖനം എഴുതി കൊടുത്തു തുടങ്ങിയതു പിന്നീടൊക്കെ ആണു ) ആദ്യം എഴുതി തുടങ്ങിയത് ബ്രംമരക്ഷസ്സ് എന്നൊരു ചെറു കഥ യായിരുന്നു എന്റെ ചെറുപ്പത്തില് അച്ച്ചമ്മ പറഞ്ഞു തന്നതുമായ ഒരു കഥ വടിവൊത്ത അക്ഷരത്തില് വര്ണനകളോടെ അത് കഥയാക്കി മാറ്റി ...അതിലെ എല്ലാ കഥാ പാത്രങ്ങളും , ജീവിചിരുന്നവരായിരുന്നു . അതില് ഒന്ന് രണ്ടുപേര്ക്ക് ഇന്ന് നല്ല പ്രായമായിട്ടുണ്ട് ഒരു എഴുപത്തി അഞ്ചു വയസ്സെങ്കിലും ഇന്നുണ്ടാവും ...അച്ഛമ്മയെ ഞാന് വിളിച്ചിരുന്നത് , വാപ്പച്ചിയുമ്മ എന്നായിരുന്നു .നാല്പതോളം മുറികള് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന വലിയ ഒരു മുസ്ലിം തറവാട്....അതിനെക്കാള് ഉപരി ഒരുവലിയ .ബംഗ്ലാവു ആയിരുന്നു അത് .."പട്ടണം ബംഗ്ലാവു ". എന്നാണ് അത് അറിയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നത് .കന്യാകുമാരി മുതല് കാസര്കോട് വരെ പുകഴ് പെറ്റിരുന്നു ആ ആഡ്യഗൃഹം . കണ്ണെത്താ ദൂരത്തോളം പരന്നു കിടക്കുന്ന ഏക്കര് കണക്കിന് പുരയിടം .അവിടെ കയറിയാണ് ബ്രംമരക്ഷസ്സ് വിളയാടിയത് . എല്ലാതരം ഫലങ്ങളും ,ലഭ്യമാകുന്ന വൃക്ഷങ്ങള് .ആകാശത്തോളം ഉയര്ന്നു നില്ക്കുന്ന പനകള് .. പനങ്ങ ചുട്ടു തിന്നുമ്പോള് കിട്ടിയിരുന്ന സ്വാദ് ഒന്നുവേറെ തന്നെ .ആ പനകള് ഒക്കെ മാദകമോഹിനികള് ആയിരുന്ന യക്ഷികളുടെ ആവാസ സ്ഥലങ്ങളായിരുന്നു .നല്ലവണ്ണം പഴുത്ത സീത പഴങ്ങള് (ആത്തിച്ചക്ക ) പറിച്ചു തിന്നുകൊണ്ട് ഞങ്ങള് കുട്ടികള് യക്ഷികളെ തേടി പനകളുടെ മണ്ടകള് നോക്കി നടക്കുമായിരുന്നു ... അടുത്തുള്ള പള്ളിയിലെ മഗരിബിനുള്ള ബാങ്ക് വിളി കേട്ട് തുടങ്ങുമ്പോള് ഉപ്പുപ്പാ (അച്ഛന്റെ അച്ഛന് ) ഞങ്ങളെ സ്നേഹപൂര്വ്വം നിസ്കാരത്തിനു നിര്ബന്ധിതരാക്കും . മിക്കപ്പോഴും ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഇമാം ആവുക ഉപ്പുപ്പ തന്നെ ആയിരിക്കും .മാലിക് ഇബിനു ബിന് ദിനാര് പരമ്പരയില് പെട്ടിട്ടാവും ആ തലയെടുപ്പും , ശാലീനതയും ,സൌമ്മ്യതയും ദീനി ചിന്തയും ഉപ്പുപ്പയില് എന്നും തെളിഞ്ഞു നിന്നിരുന്നു ....കൃത്യമായി റൂഹു പോകുന്ന സമയം വരെ ഖുറാന് ആയത്തുകള് നെഞ്ചില് വിരല്കൊണ്ട് എഴുതിയിരുന്നു ..ചുണ്ടുകള് ദിക്കിറുകള് ചൊല്ലിയിരുന്നു അതാണ് എന്റെ ഉപ്പുപ്പാ അക്കാലത്തെ .വലിയ .ധനാഡ്യനും , ദാന ധര്മ്മിഷ്ട്നും ,വളരെ സൌമ്യനുമായ ഒരു മനുക്ഷ്യന് ......അവിടെ യാണ് ആ ബ്രംമ രക്ഷസ്സിന്റെ കളി .ഇത് ഒരു സംഭവ കഥയാണ് .അതുകൊണ്ടാണ് ...ആമുഖമായി ഞാന് ഇത്രയും പറഞ്ഞത് ....
ചന്നം പിന്നം മഴ പെയ്യുന്ന മൂവന്തി ..പട്ടണം ബംഗ്ലാവിന്റെ നോക്കെത്താ ദൂരത്തോളം പരന്നു കിടക്കുന്ന പുരയിടത്തിന്റെ അങ്ങേതലക്കല് കെട്ടിയിരുന്ന സിന്ധി പശു വിനെ അഴിച്ചു തൊഴുത്തില് കെട്ടാനായി വലിയ അഞ്ചു എവര്റെടിബാറ്ററി ഇടാവുന്ന ഇരുമ്പിന്റെ ടാര്ച്ചുമായി ഇളയാപ്പ വെളിയിലേക്ക് ഇറങ്ങി നടന്നു .അന്ന് ഇളയാപ്പക്ക് പ്രായം ഇരുപത്തിഅഞ്ചു .പേരു ഷാഹുല്ഹമീദു ..പില്ക്കാലത്ത് ksrtc യില് ഉന്നതപദവിയിലിരുന്നു .മുസ്ളിമീങ്ങള് ഏറ്റവും അധികം തിങ്ങി പാര്ക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലമാണ് . അതുകഴിഞ്ഞാല് പനകയറുന്ന ജാതിക്കാരായ വളരെ പാവത്തുങ്ങള് .പിന്നെ ധാരാളം മറ്റു മതസ്ഥരും ഉണ്ട് ..എല്ലാ വിഭാഗവും ഒത്തൊരുമയോടെ ബന്ധുക്കളെപ്പോലെ കഴിയുന്ന ഐക്ക്യതയുള്ള പ്രദേശമാണ് അവിടം .അവിടത്തെ കിരീടം വൈക്കാത്ത രാജാവായിരുന്നു ഉപ്പുപ്പാ . എതിര് വായ്ക്ക്മറുവായ ആരും പറയുകയില്ല . അടുത്തുള്ള കളിയിക്കാവിള പള്ളിയില് നിന്നും ബാങ്ക് വിളി അവസാനിച്ചിരുന്നു ഇഖാമത് ചൊല്ലിയിട്ടാണ് ഇളയാപ്പയുടെ നടപ്പ് ...പുരയിടത്തില് നിന്ന് കെട്ടു അഴിച്ചതും പശു തൊഴുത്തിലേക്ക് വേഗംനടക്കാന് തുടങ്ങി ,പിന്നാലെ കയറും പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു ഇളയാപ്പയും ....സാധാരണ തൊഴുത്തിലേക്ക് വേഗം കയറി നില്ക്കുന്ന പശു വല്ലാതെ അമറാനും ,കുതറാനും ചാടാനും തുടങ്ങി ..പശുവിന്റെ പിന്നില് ഇളയാപ്പ വല്ലാതെ അടിക്കുന്നുമുണ്ട് .പശു കയറാന് വിസമ്മതിക്കുന്നു .ഇളയാപ്പാ തൊഴുത്തിലേക്ക് കയറി.... സകലശക്തിയും എടുത്തു കയര് വലിച്ചു തോഴുത്തിനുള്ളിലേക്ക് അതിനെ കെട്ടിയിട്ടു . ഇതിനിടക്ക് പെട്ടെന്നു ഇളയാപ്പ നന്നായി ഞെട്ടുകയും ചെയ്തു .നേരെ വീട്ടിലേക്കു കയറി വന്നു മുറയില് ചെന്നു കിടന്നു .....പശുവിനെ അഴിച്ചു കെട്ടാന് പോയ ആളിനെ കാണാണ്ട് മുറിയിലേക്ക് തിരക്കിവന്നവര് നിലവിളിയും ഒപ്പാരിയുമായി .......രംഗം കൊഴുത്തു ...എന്നിട്ടും ആളിനു ഒരു അനക്കവുമില്ല ...അങ്ങനെ മുപ്പതുമിനിട്ട് കഴിഞ്ഞുകാണും...പതിയെ ഇളയാപ്പ കട്ടിലില് എഴുന്നേറ്റിരുന്നു ചുറ്റും കൂടി നിന്നവരോട് പേപ്പറും പേനയും എടുത്തു കൊണ്ടുവരാനായി കൈ മുദ്ര കാണിച്ചു . സംസാരിക്കാന് കഴിയാത്ത തരത്തില് നാക്ക് താണുപോയി എന്നു ആംഗ്യം കാണിച്ചു ..വീട്ടില് നിന്നും നിലവിളി ഉയര്ന്നു .. ഫതിക്കിതാബു നോക്കാനും,തലയില് കൈവച്ച് ഖുറാന് ആയത്തുകള് ഓതിയിടാനും ഓതിയ നൂലുകള് കൈയ്യില് കെട്ടിക്കൊടുക്കാനും അടുത്തുള്ള പള്ളികളിലെ ഖതീബുമാര് വന്നു .ബന്ധുക്കളായ ആളുകള് പലവഴിക്ക് പരക്കം പാഞ്ഞു ..എല്ലാ വഴിയും നോക്കി ...ഒരു രക്ഷയുമില്ല ആഹാരം കഴിക്കാനും ,സംസാരിക്കാനും കഴിയാതെ നാക്ക്താണ് അങ്ങനെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു ദിനം കഴിഞ്ഞു .....അപ്പോഴുണ്ട് ....അവിടെത്തു കാരനായ ഒരാള് ദൈവദൂതനെപ്പോലെ ഒരു പ്രസിദ്ധനായ കണിയാന് മന്ത്രവാദി ജോത്സ്യന്റെ പേരുമായി ഓടിയെത്തി ....(പണ്ടൊക്കെ മുസ്ലിം പള്ളികളില് ഇമാം നില്ക്കുന്നവരെ ,ഉസ്താദ് ,.ഖത്തീബ് ,യെലപ്പ - ലബ്ബ എന്നൊക്കയാ പറയുക ....അതിപ്പോ ആലിംസ ഇമാം എന്നൊക്കെ സ്റ്റാന്ഡേര്ഡ് പോസ്റ്റായി.ആ പോസ്റ്റുകാര്ക്ക് പബ്ലിക് മീറ്റിങ്ങുകളില് ഏതു ചെകുത്താന്റെ കൂടെയും വേദി പങ്കിടാം ) ഇളയാപ്പാ സംസരിക്കാതെയും,ആഹാരംകഴിക്കതെയു
